Semi-hard cheese made from selected high-quality whole pasteurised cow’s milk of Italian origin.
The white, buttery texture and uniform eyes make this cheese very distinctive. The evenly distributed rind is indicative of the great care taken during the maturing process, which lasts for over 30 days and is carried out under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. During the maturing period, the wheels are moistened and washed with water and turned twice a week.
The taste of Crucolo “il Più Dolce” cheese is reminiscent of butter and cream, delicate and “sweet”.
