The company takes its name from the place where it was built in 1782 and today still is Rifugio Crucolo restaurant. "Crucolo" means in fact "top of a mountain", where the restaurant is actually located. A place in the heart of one of the most evocative valleys of the Trentino Region, Val Campelle, that cuts through Valsugana and Lagorai mountain range, dominated by Cima d'Asta.
Through the years old and new customers have kept on falling in love with the food choice and the family feeling experienced at Rifugio Crucolo. The reason that made Crucolo company grow year after year, becoming today a bespoken brand in the fields of cured meats, cheeses, grappas, liqueurs and ready meals.
